ELYSE: Emily Nash, AEA - Emily is so thrilled to be a part of the Stirrups team! Her recent credits include the National tour of Curious George (dir. Marcia Milgrom Dodge) and the world premiere of The Mysteries at The Flea (Drama Desk Award). Other favorite credits include the new mental health musical, We Have Apples (coming to 54 Below in September), Shrek the Musical (Fiona), ...Spelling Bee (Marcy), and the feature film Prom King, 2010. Beatrice/Caretake - Sheri Sanders

BEATRICE: Sheri Sanders, AEA - Sheri is a musical theatre performer who after playing such favorite roles such as Kitty in the Opera The Screams of Kitty Genovese and Little Becky in the National tour of Urinetown, took a break to create Rock The Audition- the musical theatre revolution that teaches performers and their educators how to study popular music to successfully audition for Rock Musicals. 2 years ago, Sheri went back into acting, and after playing Golde in Fiddler on the Roof at Surflight. making her off-bway debut in NEWSical, Calliope in Xanadu, and the most recent workshop of the Broadway bound CHIX6, she is absolutely thrilled to not only take on an actual play, but also to be in such great company!

Jayme Zwerling - Nurse Carol

Nurse Carol: Jayme Zwerling, AEA- is a New York native and proud Wisconsin Badger. She is pumped to be performing as part of the Thespis Theater Festival and is grateful for such a supportive cast. Some past credits include Stickytongue/Dr. Fizzpowder/Locksmith in Spring's Awakening, Polonius in Bard at the Bar, and an ensemble player in various sketch comedy shows. Hippie Chick/ Diana Reynolds: Katherine Henly, AEA - is thrilled to be a part of STIRRUPS and the Thespis New York Theater Festival! Dr. Steve Sheldon & Doctor Robert: Nicky Romaniello, AEA is very happy to be involved with STIRRUPS and the Thespis Theatre Festival at The Hudson Guild Theatre, where he has performed several times, including the new tap dance musical Count to Ten and Tennessee Williams' forgotten play The Curious Case of the Crushed Petunias. Recently Nicky was seen in Soul of the Sea, a site specific theatre piece on the steamboat Lilac, based on Oscar Wilde's “The Fisherman and his Soul” and Ephemera an immersive dance piece in the heart of time square. Currently he is keeping his hands busy playing an addiction ridden boxer in the independent film Cocaine. www.nickyromaniello.com

Stage Manager: Sydney Golden - is excited to be working with this amazing group of actors and designers. Previous Credits Include: Broadway: American Psycho and Fiddler on the Roof; Off-Broadway: The Purple Lights of Joppa Illinois (Atlantic Theatre Company); Regional: Carousel and La Bohème (Utah Festival Opera & Musical Theatre), Ariadne in Naxos (Glimmerglass Festival), The Drowsy Chaperone and The Music Man (Connecticut Repertory Theatre). 

Director: Maggie L Harrer - Member SDC -is a producer director & choreographer of plays, musicals, opera, television, film and festivals in the United States and Europe in venues from Off-Broadway to Regional Theaters, Opera Houses. The Pennsylvania Opera Theater, Utah Festival Opera and Lake George Opera Festival to historic theaters in Tolentino and Polenza, Italy. Her work ranges from the classical to the avant-garde. Currently, Ms. Harrer is developing a new play with playwright Robin Russin, The Face in the Reeds, creating a new musical about Cuban immigrants with author J. Joaquin Fraxedas and another musical, Bella, The Whore of Minsk, with the playwright of The Rothschilds, Sherman Yellen.

Playwright: Stacey Powells had been a weekly newspaper columnist since 1996 ranting about the ups and downs of exhausted parenting and has turned to blogging which covers everything from "life the second time around," balancing work, raising kids, dealing with cancer and the subsequent bankruptcy, traveling when possible, falling in love for the last time and becoming Grandma Lolly. She also writes about the peaks and valleys women go through at different stages during their lives which can be found on her new MENOBLOG at www.mymenoblog.blogspot.com. Her "Exhausted Parent/Family Life" column was published weekly in THE MAMMOTH TIMES and THE SIGNAL NEWSPAPER and as appeared regularly in THE REVIEW HERALD. She has been published in the SANTA CLARITA VALLEY LIVING MAGAZINE, MAMMOTH SIERRA MAGAZINE and was the co-sister of the popular advice column, "Dear Sisters" published in Santa Clarita's THIS WEEK. She was a full-time staff write for The Mammoth Times until economics prevailed and is re-organizing her www.exhaustedparent.com website with webmaster and exhausted father-of-four, Jason Brown. She has finished her fourth feature length film with co-writer Griff Lambert and is putting together the finishing touches on her novel, "Empty Cupboards" about a 40-something woman who has a breakdown then goes back through her life trying to figure out where the fracturing of her life began. In addition to being the morning drive-time Voice Talent and News Director for KMMT/ KRHV Radio in Mammoth Lakes, California, where her shows are streamlined around the globe, she is the host of "Community Corner" on KMMT Wednesday mornings, regularly interviews authors and heads of companies on various topics and her own radio show "The Exhausted Parent Network" can be heard Thursday nights @ 7pm PST on KMMT. "Ranting's of an Exhausted Parent" which include some of her favorite columns over the years will be out soon and with several other literary and production projects (film, television, books) in the fire she often refers to "TIME" as, "…that four-letter word."
